The Counter Threat Pavilion, in partnership with Counter-EO UK, CBRNUK & DPAC, and in collaboration with Department for Business & Trade and MOD, featured members from these specialist groups, showcasing the latest capabilities to reduce the likelihood of a CBRN attack and the integrated solutions based on British excellence to counter the IED threat.
Counter Threat Demonstrations
2025 demonstrations showed CBRN and EOD teams in action. The first demo focused on a chemical device in a suspicious vehicle near a transport hub emitting a faint chemical odour. The second demo saw police identifying a suspicious car parked illegally, in which they observed unusual wiring and a sealed container partially visible under the seat.
Both demo’s showed the steps taken by EOD and CBRN teams, including assessment, detection, neutralisation and breakdown, in order to clear the vehicle of all threats, declare the area safe and transfer all evidence to the forensic team. This is an unmissable opportunity to see these teams in action.
