The Counter Threat Pavilion, in partnership with Counter-EO UK, CBRN-UK & DPAC, and in collaboration with Department for Business & Trade, UK Defence and Security Exports and MOD, will feature members from these specialist groups, showcasing the latest capabilities to reduce the likelihood of a CBRN attack and the integrated solutions based on British excellence to counter the IED threat.
Counter Threat Demonstrations

The Counter-Explosive Ordnance team and bomb disposal operator demonstrated specialist clearance of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED). Whilst a CBRN capability demonstration carried out by a specialist CBRN operator used cutting-edge chemical, biological and radiological detection apparatus.

After taking three putts wearing the bomb suit jacket and helmet, the person with the highest score at the end of the 2024 event won a £250 voucher of their choice. And it wasn't easy as it sounds!
X-Ray Challenge
Curious what all the fuss is about in the airport? Why do they take so long to scan bags? "It must be so easy to spot a bomb!" Attendees in 2024 had a chance to try and spot the bomb.
Everyone who was successful had their name entered into a draw at the end of the event and the lucky winner received a £250 voucher of their choice.
