Architect Thomas Vonier is a senior architect based in Paris and Washington DC, advising on municipal and industrial security. He led landmark research on embassy design for the US Department of State. He was elected president of the International Union of Architects (UIA) and of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He was featured guest in the Atlantic "CityLab" program with Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo and then-New York mayor Mike Bloomberg.
