Matthew is a Deputy Director in the Resilience Directorate in the Cabinet Office. In his role he oversees Critical National Infrastructure and Systems, including climate adaptation and supply chains angles. Prior to this, Matthew was Deputy Director of Nuclear Generation and International at the department for energy and he also worked in the Civil Contingencies Secretariat on Energy and Transport Horizon Scanning and Response.
