Martin Gallagher is a former Superintendent with Police Scotland. He has a PhD in Criminology, and has produced over 40 publications in his fields of expertise. In his three decades in policing he was a detective in a number of roles and undertook a variety of command positions, including as Area Commander of Paisley, Scotland's largest town. He has undertaken work with the UNODC, ICCT - The Hague, NYPD and is an Expert with the Global Network Against Transnational Organised Crime.
