PANEL | ESG 'R' – A New Strategic Priority

26 Sep 2023
2023 International Risk & Resilience Conference
Chief Resilience Officers (CRO) have a critical role to play in helping their organisations’ prepare for and adapt to the effects of climate change. There is a myriad of climate reporting and risk analysis going on, but this is often decoupled from resilience responses. Integrating the CRO into the reporting process presents an opportunity for organisations to become more resilient today but more importantly, prepare for a more resilient future.
In this discussion, we explore how the role of the CRO can help to cohere companies’ disclosures to aid response planning and risk management activities for existing risks, as well as horizon scanning for emerging risks.
