Personal safety device disguised as ID badge

The MySOS ID Badge 4G is the perfect personal safety alarm for workers who are already required to display their ID such as housing officers, service engineers and district nurses. Blending in to the everyday, this device affords the user 24/7 protection without raising suspicion.

On a single charge users will have up to 90 hours of battery life which equates to 11 working days. Seeing the remaining battery life of the device is easy by looking at the LED screen on the back. The screen also displays GPS signal, 4G network, mobile signal strength, current time, GPRS connection and IMEI number.

The device’s 4G connectivity enables alarm functions to be performed quicker and with minimal delay when using a 4G network. If, for whatever reason, 4G is unavailable, the 2G/3G network is still supported as a backup. 

 

Alarms and buttons

The back of the MySOS ID Badge 4G has three buttons:

• SOS button – press to raise a SOS alarm to the Peoplesafe Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
   
• Dual-function power button – capture your manual position before entering a low signal area or completing a high-risk task as well as turning the device on/off.
   
• Dual-function call button – enable two key features such as voice memo and device test line to support employee safety.

The call button can be customised with other functions, including check in/out and timed activity.

An alarm can also be raised from the MySOS ID Badge 4G through the ripcord alarm which will be activated if the lanyard is suddenly pulled and detaches from the device.
