Avon CityProtector Bollard is an IWA 14-1 crash rated fixed bollard but not in the conventional shape of a traditional street bollard.  Our innovative R&D team challenged this traditional shape and took a new direction with the design of the CityProtector. Inspired by the biomechanics of nature, the shark’s tooth became the inspiration for the new bollard design.

The crash rated static bollard has undergone a number of independent impact tests, carried out at the UK’s accredited testing facilities Horiba Mira and has successfully achieved both PAS 68 and IWA 14-1 ratings for the CityProtector M40 and an IWA 14-1 rating for the CityProtector M50.
